I’ve noticed alot of my friends are celebrating their big “0” birthdays. You know 30, 40, 50!!! I figure that I should get a good start on planning mine and create a list of things that I’d like to accomplish before my next big “0” day…in October!! (The pressure).
The only problem is I ran out of things that I wanted to do after 25. I’d like to think that it’s because I’ve been so blessed and have done so much already in my life and not that I’m losing my ability to be creative in my old(er) age.
So, I posed the question tonight on-air and here are a few that I’ve added to my list. Have you created a “do before you die” list? Or have you just set an intention to do some new things this year, or some old things in a new way? If so, please share. Here’s a few of MY things…
1. Go Back to Europe
2. Publish my book
3. Take a cooking class
4. Kiss a stranger
5. Take a voice class
6. Do 50 Volunteer hours in one month
7. Make 50 pieces of jewelry and give them away
8. Go on a cruise with my family
9. Release my meditation CD
10. Have a custom guitar built for me
11. Take guitar lessons (again)
12. Workout for 50 days straight (I’m tired just thinking about this one)
13. Take swim lessons
14. Swim 50 laps
15. Take a sign language class
16. Have a 50-minute conversation entirely in Spanish
17. Learn to speak Spanish fluently
18. Ride in a private plane
19. Not die in a private plane
20. Learn to make candles
21. Have a party for 50 of my closest friends on a boat or at a beach house
22. Lead a Yoga or Meditation class
23. Sing at a piano bar (in a foreign country)
24. Ride in a hot air baloon
25. Take a painting class
